  • Pin the long sides of each square and sew them together, 1/4 from the edge down both sides.
  • Trim off excess fabric along the edges, leaving about a 3-inch border.
  • Press seams open.
  • Place one square on top of another with the wrong sides facing and pin together all four corners.
  • Then, sew around the perimeter, leaving an opening for turning.
  • Turn it inside through the opening you left earlier and press it flat again with the seams pressed open.
